Origin Story
It started the way most good things do - down a rabbit hole.
One day we discovered Whatnot. Then we found Bo Jackson Battle Arena cards. Then Invincible trading cards dropped and everything changed. What started as a hobby became an obsession, and what started as an obsession became The Throb Shop.
We're a Minnesota-based trading card breaking and collecting business built by collectors, for collectors. We break live on Whatnot, sell singles on eBay, and hunt for the cards that make the hobby worth showing up for every day.
Our lanes are simple:
- Invincible trading cards — we're all in on the Invincible universe and building toward being the go-to destination for serious collectors
- Bo Jackson Battle Arena — the underground card game that started it all for us
- Card accessories — everything you need to display, protect, and organize your collection
We're not a big box retailer. We're not a corporation. We're card people who got hooked on the thrill of the pull and decided to build something around it.
